Multiarena AS has the pleasure of offering mobile sports floors which entails a number of benefits for clubs and athletes.

Solutions with financial and qualitative flexibility

All solutions have in common that the floor surface is made up of modules. Each module is 25cm x 25cm x 1.5cm (9.8in x 9.8in x 0.6in), but is both delivered and laid out in square meters of flakes. Special micro-textures on the surface provide low levels of wear and extra safety. Adjacent modules have 7 connection points between them.

The modules are delivered in a number of color variables, but always with a matt surface without gloss, which provides less light reflection.

The mobile sports floors and the coupling system have been developed under the guidance of sports professionals from all over the world, both professional athletes, coaches and physiotherapists. To reduce the risk of injury, a solution has been found where the modules will move marginally at abrupt turns, which provides both a horizontal damping, and which further prevents damage to the knees and ankle joints, which are very typical in several sports.

Multiarena AS also supplies the floors with various shock absorption systems for vertical cushioning, also these solutions developed in close dialogue with various players within the sport.

Indoors:

"Naxos Evolution" is the most affordable alternative, and consists only of the polypropylene modules.

"Naxos Master" is the standard alternative for organized amateur sports, and also consists of a 4mm(0.15in) shock-absorbing corrugated rubber that is integrated in the individual module.

"Naxos Air Evolution" raises the quality further to a professional level. The system is then divided into two parts, where you first lay out a 6.5 mm(0.25in) rubberized processed sole, conglomerated with a polyurethane binder, and with a built-in air cushion. Specially designed to provide optimal sporting comfort for athletes.

Air damping systems reduce shocks to the joints and lower back, and reduce the risk of injury.

Outdoors:

Common to all mobile sports floors used outdoors is that they are perforated to be able to drain away surface water.

"Patmos Evolution" is the most affordable solution, which consists only of polypropylene tiles.

"Patmos Master" is the best solution for mobile flooring for outdoor sports, and comes with a 4mm(0.15in) shock-absorbing rubber integrated in each tile.

Installation, Maintenance, transport and storage:

When acquiring "Naxos Air Evolution", the surface is rolled out, before the floor is then laid on top. No tape, glue or anything else is used. The shock-absorbing substrate for this solution is delivered on rolls, in pallets with the dimension 1m x 1m x 1.6m(3ft 3.4in x 3ft 3.4in x 5ft 3in). Each pallet contains 9 rolls. Each roll weighs 68 kg(150lbs).

Installation time is approximately 75 m2(800 ft2) per man per hour; ie for example 4 men for 3 hours.If you choose the standard solution with built-in shock absorption, the installation time will be even lower, as only the floor itself will be laid.

A mobile floor from Multiarena AS has no maintenance costs, except for those that may be specific to the sport. The solutions are robust and simplify cleaning procedures.

When the floor is delivered, it arrives on special pallets where the dimensions are 1.15m x 1.15m x 2.25m (approx 3ft 9in x 3ft 9in x 7ft 4.5in) (H); each pallet with a maximum of 177m2 (1900ft2) floor. However, Multiarena AS recommends that after initial installation, the floor is stacked at a working and transport height of 1.30m (4ft 3in), including a pallet; which then gives 96 laying flakes per pallet = 96m2 (1033ft2). A laying platform weighs about 4-5 kg (9lbs).

The pallets can be reused up to several times.

Economic benefits:

The mobile floor comes with a full 15-year warranty. The floor is also very robust against damage, and if damage to the floor should occur, then only the few tiles that should be damaged are replaced. This also provides high financial security, and long life.
